My Changes in Menopause
The best advise
I can say if get a doctor you trust, talk to friends and you will
find you are NOT ALONE!! |
I'm going through menopause. My first experience was severe panic attacks.
I was driving home one night from work and had to be rushed to hospital
for this. I was so scared I was almost out of my mind...this happened
at age 48.
I still have panic attacks and now take medicine that helps. My mom died
at 56 and never spoke of periods and menopause, so I'm truly on my own
for advice and family history. I have a great ob/gyn doctor that helps
me or eases my nerves when I call him... (Lucky him!)
Now I'm 50 and having almost all symptoms of menopause. I'm really scared
for I fear I'm losing my mind, body and bodily functions. I'm coping and
saying, let my body do her thing.
The best advice I can say is to get a doctor you trust, talk to friends
and you will find you are NOT ALONE!!
I have good days and bad days, but through all of this I will make it
and respect my body more, take better care of me. I hope this helped someone.
